BEST TIME TO VISIT/ CLIMB MOUNT ELGON- ELGON TREKKING
Mount Elgon has two seasons: dry and wet. As these are the dry months with the optimum weather, December to mid-March and mid-June to the end of October are the best times to climb Elgon. Sunlight, sunshine, clear skies, and beautiful sights. Nevertheless, no matter the season, a significant change in the weather is always possible. December: While December is frequently the end of the brief rainy season, this is still a popular time to climb Mount Elgon. Rain often falls in the afternoon, while the sky is usually clear in the morning and evening.
